For now, he was exploring yet another underdeveloped planet. It would be odd to say that he preferred it to easy living he knew he could find elsewhere.... but somehow, traveling suited him at the moment. Maybe he couldn't shake the restless energy lingering from their travels, but at the moment, this was what he wanted to do.
It was for that reason he'd found himself wandering yet another old ruin, a run down temple of some sort, abandoned centuries ago. The locals in the nearby villages had plenty of gossip about the place. It was supposed to be abandoned.... but there'd been suspicious signs of activity recently. Was it a monster? Some sort of spirit? No one knew, but it had people both curious and worried.
Between all the gossip and the ruins themselves, Fayt had ended up making his way out to investigate. If it really was a monster, he'd take care of it. If not, at least he'd get to sightsee a bit.]

That certainly wasn't a monster that was dwelling in this so called temple-- Or rather not a monster in the literal sense of the term. The way he treated his "creations" could arguably qualify him as one, but not as far as he was concerned. After all, who cared about NPCs in a video game? Certainly not him and he was too stubborn to revise his opinion about them even after all that had happened. But even this had been the lesser of his worries as of late.
The way he had tried to delete the Eternal Sphere should have resulted in his death, or at the very least in his cerebral death. It's what his sister had feared. And if he could have, he'd have chosen ending up brain-dead rather than what actually happened. That would have been preferable to being alive but prisoner of his own creation.
Creation which, for all intent and purpose, should have been deleted. The fact that the Eternal Sphere still existed made no sense and was a mystery none of his equations and programs could solve. That and being prisoner in it was terribly annoying and humiliating. Hence why he had dedicated every living moment to try and re-open a path to the 4D World. It appeared as though all communications between the Eternal Sphere and his world had been severed, but if anyone could open back a way to the 4D World, it was him.
And this place happened to offer him the means to at least try, as low as his odds of success were. Hopefully he wouldn't succeed.
That's why Fayt is here after.Speaking of which, if he went far enough in Fayt could find Luther in the deepest room of the facility, after many painful and headache-inducing puzzle. There are also some actual monsters roaming the ruins strikingly somewhat to the executioners of the past-- But that's probably just a formidable coincidence. ]

Fayt did make the effort to try his hand at those puzzles, especially after seeing the monsters roaming around. The resemblance isn't lost on him, and it's enough to spark some concern about this place. He'd learned to pay attention to 'coincidences' like this, especially considering the last time he'd seen anything like these monsters. Had some of those deadly things lingered in their world even after Luther's defeat and evolved.....?
If these things could mutate, that'd be bad.
He makes slow progress through the ruins, taking on any monsters he ran into. Fighting them solo was tough, but not impossible these days, and he made his way deeper and deeper as time passed. How much time is questionable, but finally, finally he makes his way into the deepest part of the ruins.
When he spots a human form in the distance, he's on his guard even before he can make out distinct features. Whoever was here, they'd have had to make it past all of those things....]
Who's there?

This could only mean one thing.
And indeed, the voice that called him out was one he had heard before. A voice the owner of Sphere (or most probably former owner after such a long disappearance) wasn't about to forget. One of the bugs. Viruses. However they deserved to be called.
This is too much of a formidable coincidence for this to be just that, a coincidence. So, they were aware of his survival and had decided to pursue him? This only confirmed all of his thoughts about them being violent and desiring to destroy their creators. Someone else may have reached another conclusion, but his opinion was already done.
Remained the matter of how they had reached him here-- Certainly Blair wouldn't have betrayed him again. ... On second thoughts, she could have.
He didn't even bother to turn to face Fayt, not yet. ]
Again... [He sounded calm but it was obvious it was forced-- And ignored Fayt's question] How did you reach this location?

Luther had proven himself unpredictable enough when they'd faced him in his workspace, and he wasn't about to let him get away with any surprises if he could help it.]
I followed those things in. You don't make very inconspicuous guards, Luther. [Not 'Creator', not 'Owner'. This man didn't deserve any of those titles, after what he'd tried to do. They've proved themselves beyond his control.] What are you doing here? Why are you here?
So late sorry ;;
At least he hadn't grabbed his weapon, but this didn't change his mind. More than that, obviously the security unit were useless against him. He needed to think of an alternative and fast. ]
Your impudence knows no bound. [He turned back to his console.] I have not permitted you to ask me questions. You relentless pursuit only confirms everything I suspected about you. Not content with simply disobeying your creator, you would also see him obliterated.
[ He typed on his console as he spoke-- May have been nothing major, but knowing his tricks it was impossible to tell. ]
